Data security for small- to medium-sized businesses

May 6, 2015

Massive security breaches at major companies such as Target, Home Depot and Anthem make national headlines, and are certainly real cause for alarm. But more than 75% of data breaches happen to small and medium-sized businesses, since criminals always look for the easiest, most vulnerable targets.

Small and medium sized businesses are most vulnerable to security breaches, with both digital and hard-copy information at risk.

Joining us to discuss the importance of data security at smaller organizations are Jack Greiner, a partner at Graydon Head, he leads their Media Communications and Information Industry Group; Jonathan Adams, co-founder and president of SALIX, a records management and litigation support company; and, Cincinnati BBB Public Relations Specialist Sandra Guile.

The Cincinnati BBB is hosting a special Data Privacy Panel Discussion Wednesday, May 13 at Interact for Health. For more information or to register, click here, or call 513-639-9146
