Commission President Denise Driehaus joins Cincinnati Edition to discuss the county's just-announced program.

Cincinnati Edition speaks with County Commission President Denise Driehaus about a new small business program that uses federal CARES Act dollars to help local businesses who have not yet received federal assistance.

Small business owners in Hamilton County can apply for and receive a forgivable loan of up to $10,000 per business if they create or keep one full-time job within three months of getting funding. The money could be used for payroll, utilities, rent or additional COVID-19-related safety equipment expenses.
