Saving, Collecting & Trading Seeds, Plus Your Garden And Landscape Questions

Mar 28, 2017

There are many benefits to collecting your own seeds or trading seeds with other gardeners in your area, from preserving heirloom plants to finding new varieties to try.

Joining us to discuss seed collecting and sharing, and to answer your gardening questions, are Thistlehair Farm Owner and organizer of the Ohio Valley Seed Swap, Vicky Tewes; Melinda O'Briant, Adult Education director at Turner Farm; and Boone County Cooperative Extension Horticulture agent David Koester.

The Ohio Valley Seed Swap takes place Saturday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Boone County Enrichment Center, 1822 Patrick Drive, Burlington, KY, 41005. For more information, click here.
