Amy Wagner's consumer reports are back on WXIX-TV, where "Simply Money" co-founder Nathan Bachrach started them 15 years ago before they moved to WKRC-TV last August.

"I immediately felt like I was home again. So many people in that building are like family to me. It was like I never left," says Wagner, the company's regional marketing director.

Wagner's segments are now called "Allworth Advice," reflecting the name change last year when "Simply Money" was acquired by Sacramento-based Hanson McCain Advisors. Her "Allworth Advice" airs in Fox 19's 5 p.m. newscasts Monday through Friday; at 10 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and occasionally on morning newscasts.

Wagner and Debbie Bush, WXIX-TV vice president and general manager, did not comment on why the consumer reports left Channel 12, owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, after only six months. Wagner credited Bush and news director Steve Hyvonen with "welcoming me and our team with open arms" when "the stars aligned to come back."

Bush and Hyvonen "have always let me know that they believe in me and the stories and advice we share to help people make better decisions about their money," she says.

"It’s absolutely great to have them back," Bush says.

Wagner and Bachrach also can be heard doing their financial advice radio show, still called Simply Money, 6-7 p.m. weekdays on WKRC-AM. They also write a weekly column for the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Wagner was a Channel 19 anchor and investigative reporter from 2013 to 2015. She joined "Simply Money" in April 2016. She was first seen on WLWT-TV from 2004 to 2011.  She's also worked as Greater Cincinnati development director for Susan G. Komen for the Cure (2011-13) and as community and public relations director for Thomas More College (2015-16).

Appearing on Channel 19 "feels like home. It's good to be home," Wagner says.
