Kentucky is currently ranked 47th out of 50 states in overall health. LiveWell NKY, a new community-wide initiative, is hoping to change this for Northern Kentucky residents. The initiative is being launched by Skyward, which is in charge of Northern Kentucky?'s strategic plan, myNKY.
The goal is to move an additional nine percent of residents, or 20,000 adults, into excellent or very good health status by promoting active lifestyles, proper nutrition and smoking cessation.
