TV Kiese's Annual Holiday Program Guide Is Here

Dec 1, 2019

I’ve been making my list and checking it twice… And here it is: My annual Holiday Program Guide.

All the Christmas favorites are here: Charlie Brown, Rudolph, The Grinch, Frosty, White Christmas, A Christmas Carol, A Christmas Melody, A Christmas Story, It’s A Wonderful Life, Polar Express, The Santa Clause and Little Drummer Boy.

I've also tracked down the dates for A Christmas Melody, the 2015 movie shot at Kilgour School with Mariah Carey, Lacy Chabert and Lea Lachey.

You'll find the holiday highlights on WVXU-FM and WGUC, too: The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Festival Of Carols, Swing with Bill Cartwright, Around Cincinnati, Hanukkah Lights, NPR Tinsel Tales, Handel's Messiah, Jazz with O.T. Christmas and my favorite, Jonathan Winters' version of A Christmas Carol.

Again you can enjoy the holidays with old Friends with episodes of M*A*S*H, The Brady Bunch, I Love Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore, Cheers, Dick Van Dyke, Taxi, Facts of Life, Diff’rent Strokes, The Waltons, Gilligan’s Island, Love Boat, Beverly Hillbillies, Father Knows Best, Green Acres, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and The Twilight Zone. Of course there's another Festivus for the rest of us on Seinfeld, too.

You can also see some TV classics starring Bob Hope, Bing Crosby (including his 1976 duet with David Bowie), Andy Williams, Perry Como, Mac Davis, Johnny Cash, Ruth Lyons and Paul Dixon.

Or you can watch all the new Christmas movies on Lifetime and the Hallmark Channel. They’re in my Holiday Program Guide. So is Ernest Saves Christmas. (KnowwhatImean?)

Download it. Share it. (I've listed TV networks so the list can be used outside the Cincinnati TV market.)

Print it out and mark your favorites. And enjoy!
