Wanted: Brew Masters, Now There's A Degree For That

Demand for experienced brewers is high in the fast growing craft beer industry.

The number of breweries in the U.S. has grown by the thousands in recent years. In the fast-growing craft beer industry, the demand for experienced brewers is high. In response Cincinnati State Technical and Community College has launched the region's first college degree program in brewing. 

The two-year associate degree in Brewing Science is part of the Midwest Culinary Institute and was designed with extensive input from brewing industry leaders about the need for more skilled labor.
