Rajiv Satyal, who has opened for comedians such as Kevin James and Tim Allen, did a comedy tour of India for the U.S. State Department, and has recently been performing to sold-out crowds across the country, is in town to perform his one-man show. The former Proctor & Gamble executive entered and won a “Funniest Person in Cincinnati” contest years ago, and now works full time as a comedian, writer and actor. Rajiv Satyal joins us in the studio to talk about life as a comedian, and his show, which he freely admits is his ploy to find a wife. He will be performing his show, No Man’s Land, this Saturday evening at the Aronoff Center.

In 2005, Maryanne Zeleznik came to 91.7 WVXU from WNKU where she served as News and Public Affairs Director for 20 years. At WVXU she is responsible for all news and public affairs programming, hosts Morning Edition Monday through Friday, and fills in to host Cincinnati Edition. As time allows, she covers daily news, produces local features, and contributes news stories to National Public Radio.
