The Blues: 10.17.15 show

This week on The Blues, we'll start off with the great vocalist Ernestine Anderson with a rousing rendition of "Please Send Me Someone to Love" with an incredible backup group, Ray Brown on bass, pianist Monty Alexander, and Richmond native, drummer Jeff Hamilton.  You'll also hear in the first set from Jeff Beck, Cyndi Lauper and Tom Waits.

The second set features Robben Ford & the Blue Line, the Kentucky Headhunters and Gov't Mule.  Tickets went on sale last week for their 12/30 and 12/31 shows at the Beacon Theatre in NYC.  And, finally, the third set begins with Bonnie Raitt and John Mayall followed by guitar legend Eric Clapton and the iconic Nina Simone who was signed to Bethlehem Records by Syd Nathan in 1957.
