A line of women rally for women's suffrage and advertise a free rally discussing women's right to vote in New York, in Sept. 1916.

The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote.

Cincinnati Edition takes a look at this anniversary with scholar Dr. Carol Lasser, emerita professor of history at Oberlin College; Jen Miller, the executive director of League of Women Voters of Ohio; and Christopher Miller, the senior director of education at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and adjunct history professor at Xavier University. They will discuss local and national suffrage leaders who helped pave the way for change.

In addition, they will provide information about the upcoming National Underground Railroad Freedom Center commemoration of women’s suffrage on Jan. 16.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
