Greater Cincinnati Film Commission

The camera loves us. Or at least it loves our hillsides, rivers, neighborhoods and architecture. Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky have been cast in dozens of feature films over the years, including "Rain Man", "Traffic", "Airborne", "The Ides of March" and, "A Rage in Harlem." And another major motion picture, "Carol", is scheduled to start production here this spring. Greater Cincinnati Film Commission Executive Director Kristen Erwin Schlotman and Bright Light Visual Communications President Rocky Spalazzi explain what being in the movies means to our region.

In 2005, Maryanne Zeleznik came to 91.7 WVXU from WNKU where she served as News and Public Affairs Director for 20 years. At WVXU she is responsible for all news and public affairs programming, hosts Morning Edition Monday through Friday, and fills in to host Cincinnati Edition. As time allows, she covers daily news, produces local features, and contributes news stories to National Public Radio.
