The Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments - aka OKI - updates local projects

  

Formed in 1964, the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) has spent 50 years developing collaborative strategies to improve the quality of life and the economic vitality of our region. With final authority over all federal dollars spent on transportation in the region, OKI approves roughly $40 million each year in funding for projects in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Executive Director Mark Policinski joins us to discuss OKI?s latest plans and projects.

Jay Hanselman brings more than 10 years experience as a news anchor and reporter to 91.7 WVXU. He came to WVXU from WNKU, where he hosted the local broadcast of All Things Considered. Hanselman has been recognized for his reporting by the Kentucky AP Broadcasters Association, the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists, and the Ohio AP Broadcasters.
