While many people rejoice in the large amounts of food present at holiday gatherings, those with eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and binge eating may struggle with it. Not only is food a trigger, but the stress of being around so many people and family members can sometimes add to the problem.

Joining us to discuss how to recognize that a family member or friend may have an eating disorder and how to help them during this festive time is author, wellness coach and specialist in the treatment of eating disorders, The Eating Disorder Pro, Dr. J. Renae Norton; and Lindner Center of HOPE staff psychologist, clinical director of Adult Eating Disorder Services at Harold C. Schott Foundation Eating Disorders Program, and University of Cincinnati adjunct assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral neuroscience, Dr. Sarah Lavanier.
