Cincinnati's new casino continues to hire workers as it heads toward a March 4 opening date.  Horseshoe Cincinnatiis looking to fill more than a hundred positions Tuesday for cocktail servers and restaurant hosts.  The casino will employ nearly 1,700 people in various roles.  Human resources director Meaghan Ryan said the hiring effort is going well.

"This is our third and final phase of recruiting," said Ryan.  "We started out with table games and we did a lot of our casino roles after that.  Now all of our food service, all of our culinary positions--these cocktail servers and restaurant host servers--these are all of our final roles we're looking to hire."

Tuesday's open casting call runs from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Xavier University's Cintas Center.  Ryan said candidates should come dressed to impress with several copies of their resumes.

Rock Gaming and Caesar's Entertainment are developing Horseshoe Cincinnati.  The downtown casino is expected to attract an estimated six million visits annually.
