Cincinnati is the fourth and final stop for the Ohio Task Force on Community Police Relationswhich has already held forums in Cleveland, Wilberforce and Toledo.
Ohio Governor John Kasich formed the task force three months ago following police shootings in Cleveland and Beavercreek.
The information gathered from the four public forums will be used to create recommendations that will ultimately be provided to the Governor and other lawmakers.
From 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday the two dozen task force members will listen as experts and the public speak. The forum is at theKingsgate Marriott at the University of Cincinnati.
According to Ohio Department of Public Safety Spokeswoman Kristen Castle, "Something that is brought up at the beginning of each of these public forums is the importance of this relationship improving and how we do want to hear suggestions and possible solutions from the public."
Castle says the information will be compiled and presented to the Governor and lawmakers in April.
