All 162 Reds games will be televised again this year – with 159 games on Fox Sports Ohio, and three national games on Fox Sports 1.
FSO starts the season with Opening Day coverage at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 26, six hours before the Reds-Cardinals play at 4:10 p.m. The parade starts at noon. The Opening Day game will be simulcast again by WKRC-TV. Channel 12's parent company, Sinclair Broadcast Group, bought FSO from Disney last year.
Thom Brennaman and Jim Day will return as play-by-play announcers working with either Chris Welsh or Jeff Brantley.
A 30-minute Reds Live will air before and after every game. This year Danny Graves, a former pitcher who had done some Reds radio games, will join the Reds Live team of Brian Giesenschlag, Jeff Piecoro, Sam LeCure and Charlie Walter, who was FSO's "minor league correspondent" last season.
FSO's new Access Reds, which has aired on Wednesdays, will become a monthly program after March 18. Walter hosts the half-hour show.
The national Fox Sports network also announced Thursday that the Reds will play three nationally televised games:
Thursday, May 14: Milwaukee Brewers at Reds, 6:30 p.m., FS1 and Fox Deportes
Saturday, May 23: San Diego Padres at Reds, 4 p.m., FS1 and Fox Deportes
Saturday, Aug. 22: Reds at Milwaukee Brewers, 7 p.m., FS1
