Chris comes to KCUR as part of Guns & America, a reporting collaboration between 10 public media stations that is focused on the role of guns in American life. Hailing from Springfield, Illinois, Chris has lived in seven states and four counties. He previously served in the Army, and reported for newspapers in Kansas and Michigan. Chris lives in downtown Kansas City. He roots for St. Louis sports teams, which means he no longer cares about the NFL.

Noah Glick is from the small town of Auburn, Indiana and comes to KUNR from the Bay Area, where he spent his post-college years learning to ride his bike up huge hills. He’s always had a love for radio, but his true passion for public radio began when he discovered KQED in San Francisco. Along with a drive to discover the truth and a degree in Journalism from Ball State University, he hopes to bring a fresh perspective to local news coverage.

Bryant Urstadt is the editor of Planet Money, NPR's podcast about economics. Planet Money specializes in taking complicated subjects, finding the people at the center of them, and turning their stories into entertaining narratives. He is part of the team which won a Peabody for reporting on the fake bank accounts scandal at Wells Fargo.

Joseph Ciccolini is an intern at WKSU for Fall 2019. He is set to graduate in December, 2019 with a degree in broadcast journalism. After graduation he wants to pursue a career in sports radio. He is passionate about the Cleveland Cavaliers, Browns and Indians. In his free time he likes to watch sporting events and movies, with Star Wars being his favorite.

Mikaela Lefrak is WAMU’s Arts and Culture reporter. Before moving into that role, she worked as WAMU’s news producer for Morning Edition.

Abigail Censky is the Politics & Government reporter at WKAR. She started in December 2018.

Quincy J. Walters is a junior at USF, majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing. His interest in journalism spurred from the desire to convey compelling narratives. He has written for USF’s student paper, The Oracle and is currently the videographer for Creative Pinellas. If he’s not listening to NPR, he’s probably listening to Randy Newman.

Robert Garcia is the Executive Producer of NPR Newscast, the unit that provides the most listened-to content in public radio with 28.6 million listeners each week. Garcia oversees the production and broadcast of 37 live newscasts Mondays through Fridays, and 24 each day on Saturdays and Sundays.
