George Takei, Star Trek’s Mr. Sulu, and star of stage, screen and the internet, will be in Cincinnati this week to appear with the Cincinnati Pops season-opening concert, Final Frontier, and to serve as the Grand Marshall of Oktoberfest Zinzinnati. The Cincinnati Observatory’s Dean Regas, who will appear with George Takei during the Pops concerts, had a chance to speak with him by phone about his career, the future, and leading the world’s largest Chicken Dance.
