After several days of intense public hearings surrouding the U.S. House's impeachment inquiry into President Donald J. Trump's alleged "quid pro quo" involving Ukraine and American military aid funds, what is next on Capitol Hill?

Whether more hearings are in the cards, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said recently that the House Democrats are moving forward with their impeachment report.

Meanwhile, another candidate is added to the Democratic presidential primary field. Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has joined the fray, and he has brought with him a more than $30 million ad buy as an effort to catch up to the field.

South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who was in Cincinnati on Friday, is surging in Iowa where multiple polls now show him leading former Vice President Joe Biden and Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

And as Democrat Andy Beshear is set to take over as governor in Kentucky, what can the rest of the nation learn from November's results in the Bluegrass State?
