'America's Got Talent' Auditions Nov. 14 At Duke Energy Convention Center

NBC's "America's Got Talent" summer variety show holds open auditions Tuesday Nov. 14 at the Duke Energy Convention Center.

You can either arrive early that day for the open call auditions, or submit a video online "by November 5 and be at the front of the audition line," says FilmCincinnati. com, the film commission's website.

The eligibility requirementssay anyone under 18 must be accompanied at the audition by a parent or legal guardian. The rules also say that an applicant is "not currently a candidate for public office, and if selected to participate in the program, I agree that I will not become a candidate for public office until at least one (1) year after the initial broadcast of the final episode of the Program in which I appear."

The show's rules also stipulate:

--If you are part of a group, only one member should register for the group.

--If you're under 18, "please ask a parent/guardian to insert THEIR birth date in online form to register on your behalf."

Here's a link to the form.

NBC will broadcast the 13th season next summer. The winner receives $1 million.

No word yet who will judge auditions here. Last summer Tyra Banks hosted the show judged by series creator Simon Cowell, singer Mel Brown from the Spice Girls, model Heidi Klum and comedian-actor Howie Mandel. Darci Lynne Farmer, a 12-year-old ventriloquist from Oklahoma City, won the 12th season on Sept. 20.

"America's Got Talent" premiered June 21, 2006, with host Regis Philbin. Jerry Springer hosted the next two years, after competing on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." Nick Cannon hosted 2009-2016, before Banks took over.

NBC's auditions start Sunday, Nov. 5 in Orlando. After Cincinnati, the show goes to Savannah GA on Nov. 19; Milwaukee, Dec. 3; Houston, Dec. 9; Las Vegas, Dec. 13; New York, Dec. 17; Nashville, Jan. 13; San Jose,  Jan. 19; and Los Angeles, Feb. 3.
