'Stand Your Ground' Up For Debate In Ohio House

A piece of legislation making its way through the Ohio House in the lame duck session started as an effort to allow those banned from owning guns to acquire antique firearms. But along the way, House Bill 248 could see dozens of amendments added by lawmakers who hope to expand access guns in Ohio.

Changes include concealed guns in more places, allowing 18-year-olds to buy firearms and "stand your ground" in Ohio.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss the bill is Ohio State Representative John Becker, who is a co-sponsor of the bill; and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America Local Group Manager at the State Level and National Chapter Liaison Michele Mueller.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
