The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati (CTC) had hoped to dazzle its young audiences with big productions like Disney's Descendants and the world-premiere musical Princess & Frog, but the pandemic has had other plans for live entertainment this year.
CTC opted to postpone the entire 2020-21 mainstage season until 2021-22.
But it is adjusting, and plans to offer alternatives in the meantime.
There will be four shows produced for in-person and digital viewing across two local stages, CTC's Red Bank theater and the Taft Theater Downtown.
Joining Cincinnati Edition to talk about it is Children's Theatre of Cincinnati Producing Artistic Director Roderick Justice.
Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
