ABC Adds 2 New Shows, Renews 19

ABC renewed "blackish," starring Arica Himmel, for a second season.

A drama from Emmy-winner David E. Kelley (Picket Fences, Big Little Lies, The Practice) and a Kyra Sedgwick comedy will join 19 returning series on ABC's 2020-21 fall TV roster.

The ABC announcement did not include a fall lineup.

ABC has renewed American Housewife, American Idol, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, black-ish, The Conners, Dancing with the Stars, The Goldbergs, A Million Little Things, mixed-ish, The Good Doctor, Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19, The Rookie, Shark Tank, Stumptown, 20/20, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, America’s Funniest Home Videos and Supermarket Sweep.

Kelley's Big Sky thriller, based on books by C.J. Box, stars Kylie Bunbury, Ryan Phillippe and Katheryn Winnick as Montana private detectives searching for women kidnapped by a truck driver on remote highways. 

Sedgwick stars in Call Your Mother, a comedy from Kari Lizer (The New Adventures of Old Christine) about an empty nester who tries to become involved with her adult children.

Bless This Mess, Emergence, Grand Hotel, Kids Say The Darndest Things, Schooled, Single Parents have been canceled, according to Variety.

How To Get Away With Murder, Modern Family and Fresh Off The Boat ended this spring. iMarvel's Agents of SHIELD starts its final season Wednesday, May 27.
